This figure is a reproduction of Wright’s circus “horse”. lts rolling mane and muscular body were intended to be used as a set of bookends, or as a decorative accessory. Russel Wright was as creative naming the circus animals as he was designing them. His sister’s name was Elizabeth, however, he always called her “Libbs” or “Libbylou” as her nickname. So when he named this particular piece... it became: Libbiloo.
